There’s something incredibly moving about old photographs , the way they quietly hold entire lifetimes inside a single moment. For this project, I wanted to create a piece that felt like discovering a treasured memory tucked between the pages of a forgotten journal.

Using layered textures, collage papers, stitching, and distressed details, I built a vintage-inspired composition centered around this beautiful portrait of a couple. The warm turquoise and rust tones bring depth and character, while the delicate threads and worn edges add a sense of history and tenderness.

The sentiment “For thy sweet love remembered” became the heart of the piece , a gentle reminder that love stories continue to live on through memories, photographs, and the little things we choose to preserve.
