I’m based in Bologna, Italy, with a serious weakness for layers, texture, stamps and overall getting my hands messy.
Scrapsaurus is where I share what happens on my desk. Cards, tags, dimensional pieces, experiments, techniques… including the ones that didn’t exactly go according to plan.
I know the rules. I just don’t always see a good reason to follow them.
Most of the time I start with paper and ink and see where it goes. Then come the old book pages, paint, stitching, stamping and usually a lot more stuff than I originally planned.
I have a thing for worn paper, rough edges, visible stitching and using things that probably weren’t meant to end up on an art desk in the first place.
Sometimes I end up with a card. Sometimes a tag. Sometimes something completely different from what I had in mind when I started… and I’m perfectly fine with that.
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some pretty amazing people and brands over the years. Some I still create with today, others belong to different chapters of Scrapsaurus.
