I started by building a soft, layered background with muted pinks and olive greens, letting the colors blend naturally over texture and stamped details. From there, the florals slowly found their place. I kept moving them around until the cluster felt balanced without looking too perfect, that slightly overgrown look is what gives the tag its character.

The stitching frames everything without overpowering the composition, while a few loose threads and splatters keep the project feeling handmade. I wanted the sentiment, “Just One Life,” to feel quietly tucked into the layers rather than becoming the focal point.

It’s one of those pieces where every small decision, adding a leaf, shifting a flower, darkening an edge, makes a difference. Nothing dramatic, just a series of little adjustments until the whole tag felt finished.
