I started off my art journal page by adding a bit of gesso in the backgroud, i then adhered a paper tissue (like real nose tissue –  unused of course) and let it dry completely. I added a bit of gel medium to make it harden a little then I covered slightly with some more gesso.

Added texture paste through a stencil and let it dry again. Added color with Distress Oxide Spray Stain and Distress Spray Stain + added some stamps to add texture.

The little cluster is made with Tim Holtz new Ephemera from Ideaology and a little piece of notebook that I ripped off (the top part)

I really had fun using a color scheme im not typically keen on. I was inspired by the flowers  and was lucky enough to find a Ideaology Collage “frame” that fitted the whole composition!
