I firstly added a bunch of layers with Distress Paint then I let it dry and added some Grit Paste in Opaque that I colored with a pinch of Iced Spruce Paint. When everything was dry, I did a small layer with Distress Crackle Medium and let it dry, then I added some more color to make the background blend with the whole background.

As it was drying, I stamped the pine cones over some Distress Paper and added color to the pine cones. I fussy cut them (Yes crazy I know) and I gave some touchs up till i was happy with the result.
I stitched the background and forgot I had the white thread on…..Screamed a bit, but then I said HEY IT LOOKS GOOD. So instead of throwing everything away, I went with the flow and adhered everything together.
