Here we are with a brand new challenge over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is:

Add some texture

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Katzelkraft. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I stared my background by adding gesso to the tag using a sponge – I let it dry and then I went over again with the sponge and Picket Raspberry Distress Ink.

I let it dry again and then used the stamp to add some text in the background – I didnt want to to be too “in your face” so i did a second stamp image.

I used some more ink to draw a big heart and then used a black ink to add scribbles around that heart.

Then for more texture I used Crackle Paste through a stencil and as the paste was drying up, I sprinkled over some Distress Embossing Glaze. Once the paste was dried and all crackled I used the embossing tool to heat set the Embossing Glaze.

I did a small cluster with Tim Holtz Ideaology Photobooth pictures and used also some dies to add interest.
