Oh how I love this color combination! I’m sure you wouldn’t believe it, but the color I’ve used  are :
Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, Tea Dye, Lost Shadow and Black Soot.

They blend in so beautifully!

The base of my tag is a white water color tag that I’ve prepped with a chunk layer of white gesso, then I let it dry and add the Distress Paint. I let it dry again then added Distress Spray Stain to add some more color. For the Distress Spray Stain I’ve used the same colors except for black soot.

For the black I’ve used the Distess Oxide black soot because I didn’t want anything too dark. The oxide version leaves that halo that is perfect.

I’ve die cut the specimen frame from an Ideaology Piece of Paper, glued it together and add some sewing and some stamps. When the background was dry enough, I added some more stamps and draw through the beautiful damask stancil , also from Tim Holtz.
