I didn’t want to interpret the theme in a literal way. Instead of rain, sun, or clouds, I focused on the idea of constancy ,things that remain steady regardless of conditions.

The background started with layered distress inks in muted blue, green, and warm neutral tones. I added the color with a brush and tons of water to achieve the watercolor look. I kept the blending soft and slightly uneven so the surface would feel aged and affected by time rather than by a specific weather event.

Light splatters and subtle stamping add visual movement without overpowering the composition.

The butterflies are the focal point. I stamped and cut them from watercolor paper, then used the same color from the background but still stand out through dimension. Their placement creates a gentle vertical flow across the tag.

To reinforce the theme, I added a simple sentiment: “hearts have all things.” The message is direct , emotions and intentions endure regardless of external circumstances.

Texture plays an important role in this piece. But I kept it one dimension (except for the butterflies) I added distress ink through the Nordic Stencil. 

This tag is a reminder that creative expression doesn’t depend on perfect conditions. You work with what you have, adapt, and keep going , whatever the weather.
