Hello Crafters !

Here we are with a brand new challenge over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is:

Add Some Texture

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Stamperia. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

As you may know, the  Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.

We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!

I used a bunch of Tim Holtz bits I had laying around my craft table and I used Stamperia Glossy Heavy Gel to glue everything together. Then I used a bit of Stamperia White Heavy Body paste to tone down the background I created.

With my fingers I applied distress paint over the background I previously made and started blending the colors together. When I was satisfied with the background I used a Tim Holtz Layering stencil and Distress Paste to create some more texture. I let it dry completely.

With some more distress paint I added color till I was happy again with the background!

Once I was done, I added my traditional stitch around the tag, I added a couple of marks with the brush and black paint. I also added a photo from the Tim Holtz Photobooth mix and quotes from the Tim Holtz Idea-Ology clippings. They are just perfect.

And that’s all for today, If you have any questions, suggestions or if you want to let me know what  you think of this project, leave a message!

Stay happy , stay creative…Till next time!

Ciao Zoey
