Today I am going to share with you an easy tutorial where I made an art journal page using products from Indigoblu.
Make sure to head over the Indigoblu blog to check out other tutorials that are waiting for you![/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1872″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I started by covering a 6×6 Mixed Media Paper from Indigoblu with white gesso.

To apply the gesso I of course used my fingers![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1873″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I also added some Indigoblu English Cottage Acrylic Paints, always using my fingers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1874″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I sprayed the paper with some water and helped the colors blend all together. I then dried with the heat gun and then I stamped randomly the background.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1875″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used another piece of Mixed Media Paper from Indigoblu and I stamped the sentiment, then I cut the sentiment in stripes and darkened up the border with the StazOn Mini Pad.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1876″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I started layering the cluster with other pieces of Mixed Media and a piece of old book paper.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1877″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I stitched all around the page , the sentiment and the cluster. 1. Such a brilliant use of stamping Zoey! I am now getting my sewing machine out and using it for my cards, with your inspiration. Hugs, Autumn

  2. Zoey, I love everything about this! Your image, stamping, the stitching and color palette! Just delicious all the way around!
Thanks so much for sharing- Beautiful!

  3. Lovely layers of paint and papers! Finger painting yes… but not as I know it, your fingers must have a unique talent.
