There’s something magical about sitting down with a cup of something warm, a messy craft table, and a handful of Christmas supplies. Today I’m sharing a little trio of festive tags I created using a mix of Distress products and one of my favorite holiday bundles from Simon Says Stamp.

I wanted these tags to feel nostalgic, like the kind you’d find tucked inside an old box of decorations in the attic, weathered edges, soft colors, and just the right amount of grunge.

🎄 Tag 1: “In the Meadow We Can Build a Snowman”

This little snowman completely stole my heart! I built the background with layers of Distress Ink and Distress Spritz, letting the colors mingle into that soft wintery pink. A few splatters of gold add shimmer without overpowering the stamped image. I die-cut the snowman, added a stitched border, and gave everything a slightly distressed edge for that vintage charm I love.

🎅 Tag 2: “Naughty or Nice”

Of course, no Christmas tag set is complete without jolly ol’ Santa. For this tag, I combined stamped collage layers with earthy greens and browns to get that woodland Christmas vibe. Santa pops beautifully against the background, thanks to the die-cut outline and the contrast of the softer tones behind him. The “naughty or nice” label adds a playful touch!

🎄 Tag 3: Christmas Tree Magic

This tag might be the most nostalgic of the trio. The background uses colder tones icy blues and faint greys to create a frosty backdrop for the hand-colored Christmas tree. A whisper of stenciling and subtle Distress Spritz texture gives the whole tag a snowy atmosphere. I finished it with a dark thread topper to contrast the cool palette.

And that’s all for today, If you have any questions, suggestions or if you want to let me know what  you think of this project, leave a message!

Stay happy , stay creative…Till next time!

Ciao Zoey
