This little tag started as a love letter to layering and texture — the kind that feels quietly festive rather than loudly Christmasy. I wanted something that felt timeless, a bit vintage, and perfectly at home tucked into a wrapped gift or a December journal.

The focal point is the coordinating stamp and die set, which makes building dimension effortless. I stamped the botanical image first, then used the matching dies to cut it out cleanly while preserving all that beautiful detail. That perfect alignment between stamp and die is one of those small things that makes the creative process flow so much more smoothly.

Of course, no project of mine would be complete without Distress Ink. I used it to softly tint the background, age the edges, and blend everything together so the layers feel cohesive and well-loved. Those subtle variations in color add so much depth, especially against the vintage paper layers and the soft, muted palette.

A touch of metallic embossing brings in a bit of holiday magic without overpowering the design, while the torn edges and stitching details keep everything grounded and tactile. It’s one of those projects where every layer has a purpose and that’s always my favorite kind of make.

Simple, layered, and full of texture… just how I like my Christmas crafting ✨

And that’s all for today, If you have any questions, suggestions or if you want to let me know what  you think of this project, leave a message!

Stay happy , stay creative…Till next time!

Ciao Zoey
