Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is “Make a Wish” ! The theme is so open to so many ideas and projects and I am so excited to see how you will interpret it!
I altered one of the awesome wooden panel by Tim Holtz and Idea-ology — they come in different size in one pack and I choose the one that was more or less big as a normal ATC.

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2084″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]I covered the wooden panel with Gesso and glued some pieces of Tissue Wrap Paper and Tissue Tape here and there, I did not want to cover up the whole panel, even if it looks “messy” you can still see part of the beautiful wooden texture in the background. I used distress markers to add some colors and I blended the distress markers with my fingers and a baby wipes.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2085″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]I used black heavy gesso through the mini stencils by Tim Holtz, I love that now these stencils come in a mini size…they are PERFECT for small projects like ATCs. You can find them all over Simon Says Stamp…of course!

When the gesso was dry I used some distress paint to highlight the peeks of the gesso. Love the effect![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2088″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]

Tim Holtz came to the rescue again….his line of Ephemera is always PERFECT to decor your projects – I love every sets that he has, here, I layered a bunch of ephemeras and stitched them together – I topped everything with a photo from the Vintage Photo Booth set and a sticker from the Small Talk stickers sheet to add the sentiment.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2088,2087,2086,2085,2084,2083″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]
