Under the moonlight

Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

 

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2944″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I cut a rectangle from a piece of light cardboard – I also cut another rectangle to create the frame. To make it “tridimensional” i glued down some more strips of light cardoard to make it look like a true frame. I covered the backrgound with a page of old book and then I added a textured tape and some modeling paste through a stencil. I let it dry then I used distress paint to cover the entire background.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2942″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]With the modeling paste I created the moon. Then, when the modeling paste was still wet, I added some crackle paint. I set aside to dry. Meanwhile I colored the frame with distress paint and highlighted the sides with distess ink. When the moon was dry, I glued the frame to the background.
I cut a boat shape and I colored it with dark colors, after all this is a night scene.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2946″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I made a figure with the wire and I cut a piece of heart and glued it to the hand of the wire guy. I added some more details with a white pencil and a black one. Then I stapled the wire around the frame just to add some more texture and interest.
