Per questo progetto ho creato un video tutorial semplice e veloce.

I used a Simon Says Stamp white cardboard as a base for my project. I used gel medium to glue down piaces of paper – I love starting my projects with a collage background, i think it makes everything much more interesting and also makes me feel less bad for all the paper I “waste” during others projects!
When the gel medium was dry I used an old dry brush to add gesso to tone down the paper. I let it dry completely.
Once the background was done, I run the paper through my sizzix big shot and used this awesome Tim Holtz tiny houses die. I build up the house and let the glue dry before adding all the colors.
I used distress paint with a lot of water to color the house. I used a range of yellows and oranges and then I let it dry with the embossing tool.
I wrote my sentiment since my print didn’t want to cooperate and I didn’t have such teeny alphabet stamp , I glued with gel medium again to the tiny house.
I added some shadow with the black paint also diluted with water.
I made the little wire dude and then I used a piece of cardboard to make a small cloud. I ran out of cotton so I used a piece of baby wipe to mimic the fluffy of the cloud. LOL I also used another piece of wire to add the “silver lining” to the cloud.
I absolutely love this quote and I truly think it is a true statement.
From the internet: “Every cloud has a silver lining” means that you should never feel hopeless because difficult times always lead to better days. Difficult times are like dark clouds that pass overhead and block the sun.
