Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!
This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange isNautical
definition: of or relating to sailors, ships, or navigation:
Many of our friends have spent their summer vacation on board cruise ships, some have been boating on lakes, and some have been sailing across one of the seven seas, we would like you to cruise along with us and create something with sea related voyages in mind.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2989″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]To start my ATC I worked on the background by gluing down some pieces of paper and Ephemera by Tim Holtz. I used collage glue to do so. I let the glue dries and then I added Gesso over the background trying to create textures.
I added color with distress paint and distress oxide. I also used water color to give more depth to the background.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2988″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I took a chipboard and covered it with gesso, then when the gesso was dry I used distress oxide to add some color.
I also took some Tim Holtz Paper and cut out a boat shape. I took a small toothpick and covered it with black thread and glued it down to the boat. I cut some small triangles and a big one to mimic the veils.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2987″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used some more gesso to create waves and I let it dry completely. It took a few minute because I created a lot of texture. I then stitched all around the ATC and added the sentiment from a stamp by Tim Holtz[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2986,2987,2988,2989,2990,2991″ img_size=”large”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
