A Trio Of Something
As this is the first challenge of the month we are showcasing a particular brand/designer. this week we have all used something designed by the lovely Dyan Reaveley. You don’t have to use her products to join in, but if you have something then we would love to see them used

I started my background with applying the Dylusions paint with a roller and i let it dry. I used for the background Vibrant Turquoise and Fresh Lime – i love the mix of these two. I cut the paper into size, they are 3×4 cards. I like making the background this way, it saves ton of time! After I cut the paper to size, I used archival ink and some background stamps to add a funky look to my background!
I kept the cards all the same, same size, same layout and same color scheme. I took another piece of paper and I used the same roller to add some more paint. This time I used Lemon Zest and Bubblegum Pink. I let it dry then I stamper this big mushroom and these funny hat with archival ink. With white gesso I highlighted the circles on the mushrooms because the backrgund got busy I couldn’t see the circles no more. So with my little finger I added gesso to add more light to it. I set aside to dry and I did the same thing for the tag.
Before glueing together everything i wanted to add some more interest to the background so I added some stitches. To go with the funky look, I added some random stitches, some straight, some zigzag. I love how they came out!
When I was happy, I added every little piece to my card and with some dylusions spray I added few drops of color here and there.

ZOEY! Out of all your projects, these are some of my absolute all-time favorites! You know I’m addicted to color and these are just swimming in beautiful bold colors! And you always know how to combine them just right. I love everything about these and am still drooling over them!
