Who doesn’t?! They are small, easy and super fast to make! For this set, I started as par usual with some book pages that I collaged to the background – I used gel medium to glue everything down and when I was ok with the background, I toned everything down with a bit of Gesso. i let it dry well and then I decided what colors to use for my background. I wanted to use bold and bright colors because I want these ATCs to have positive vibes![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3744″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used a palette knife to add the color to the background, i scraped the colors here and there without blending them together much. I wanted to make sure you were able to see the bold colors. I let it dry, then again I added a bit of gesso to make the colors pop even more.
I used a bunch of stamps to add a bit of more texture and set aside as I was looking through my paper doll stash![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”3742″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I ran my ATCs through the sewing machine, as always I didn’t do a precise stitch because 1) i am not able to (LOL) 2) because I like it wonky, i think it gives to the project even more character and style!
Finally I added my paper dolls and the sentiments and used the Tiny attacher by Tim Holtz to add some metal interest.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_pageable][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][eltdf_content_title content_title=”project details”][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”3739,3740,3741,3742,3743,3744,3745,3746,3738″ img_size=”large”][vc_empty_space][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

  1. These are fabulous, Zoey! I always like to see what you create and the color palette here is so fresh and bold. I love the little pops of orange and the stitched stamp along the edging (I think it’s a Stampers Anonymous one) looks great!

  2. They are so vibrant and pretty. I love this pink mixed with white and black. The texture is fabulous as always, love all the color layers, too. Hugs, Macarena

  3. Super cute ATC’s Zoey 🙂 I need to make some of these, as you say they are small but fabulous little works of art! Your backgrounds are fabulous and I love the little people, very cute 🙂
