Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is ” We Clearly See It! ” — so grab your acetate sheet, your vellum, your plastic…anything that is transparent and play along with us!
I made a mixed media TAG and I used acetate sheet to create wings for my stacked hearts!

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1914″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I took a Manila Tag and covered it with old book pages, Tim Holtz Postale Tissue Wrap and pieces of Washi Tape.

I covered it with a bit of gesso and let it dry. I took a Distress Ink Pad and I smudged it over my Kraft Sheet, added water and let the color soak into my Tag. I let it dry again then with Distress Markers I added some shadows around the sides.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1915″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I grabbed a piece of Manila paper and I covered it again with old book pages, tissue wrap and washi tape.
I run the piece of paper through my die cutting machine and I used a sizzix die to cut my three hearts. I added gesso and again with distress markers I added a bit of color. With a black gel pen I added some scribbles around the hearts just to give a bit of interest. My goal for this TAG was not to use stamps — so I had to add interest with scribbles.
I stitched the three hearts together.
I took a piece of acetate sheet and I run it through my die cutting machine and a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die and I cut my wings. I  added color to the wings with Alcohol Inks and let it dry. Glued the pieces together and stacked under the hearts.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”1916″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Before glueing the hearts to the tag, I decided to darkened up the edges of the tag and add some stitches around the border, again to give it a bit of interest and a finished look.

I glued down my center piece and then I adhered stickers by Tim Holtz to create my sentiment.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”1914,1915,1916,1917,1918,1919″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]

Il tema di questa settimana su Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange è ” We Clearly See It!

Ho cucito i tre cuori insieme.
