Today I will show you a quick and easy tutorial on how to use Color Burst by Ken Oliver. We will be testing Color Burst with Cosmo Cricket watercolor collection and we will be making an handmade book with its own packaging, perfect for a DIY gift!

I started by cutting to size the Cosmo Cricket Watercolor Collection pad and the first Color Burst by Ken Oliver that I used is Ultramarine Blue. I spritzed a teeny bit of powder, added water and then with a brush I helped the color move. I dry the paper with the heat tool.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1628″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1629″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1630″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]When the Ultramarine Blue was fairly dry, I added some Yellow Lemon, again just a teeny bit.

I added some more water and always with a small brush I helped moving the color around. I love the way it mix well with the Ultramarine Blue…just look at how awesome is this mix!

I dry the paper again with the heat tool.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1631″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1632″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1633″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Then I stitched around the border of the paper to give some more interest and contrast, I also binded couple of papers and made my handmade book. I used the watercolor paper that we just created for the cover.

From the same Cosmo Cricket Watercolor pad I cut another strips that had arrow on it. I used the same technique and used it as an accent to my vellum back that I also stitched.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]And that’s all for today, If you have any questions, suggestions or if you want to let me know what  you think of this project, leave a message!

Oggi vi mostro un modo facile e veloce su come usare i Color Burst by Ken Oliver!
