Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is “USE PATTERNED PAPER” – oh wow how fun!!!!
This week’s theme is awesome! I love it and I had so much fun playing along with my awesome team!

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2153″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]For this challenge I wanted to give my self another “limit” which was to ONLY use patterned paper! Exception made of course for the sentiment!
So I cut a piece of patterned paper from the awesome Paper stash 8×8 collage mini and started to add texture and colors to it. I also used one of the mini stencils by Tim Holtz, they are the perfect size for smaller project, I will never be tired to say that![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2151″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I also die cut – using patterned paper – a couple of little details like the hinge and the clock hands to add a bit of interest to the ATC. These were also distressed and I put a layer of distress crackle paint that I then let it dry and highlighted the crackles with even more distress ink.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2155″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]The sentiment is cut from another piece of cardstock from the same patterned paper stash, then I decided to use the stickers that I soooo love! (as you might have guessed already! lol)
Of course to finish this ATC off I had to add my signature…the black stitches!
So this is my take on the challange, I am looking forward to see what you create![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2150,2151,2152,2153,2154,2155″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]

  1. Riuscire a fare quel che hai fatto con le patterneed papers………. solo tu ce la potevi fare! MI piace veramente da matti! Come sempre stupendo e originale! Barbara

  2. Love the dimension of your layered elements and fabulous crackle on the clipboard clip – so much amazing detail on a tiny ATC – wonderful!

  3. This is a very cool piece, Zoey! You blend patterns and colors so seamlessly that it’s always a treat to try and see where one pattern starts and another one ends– it all just comes together perfectly every time! On this ATC, I also really like the mix of retro license plates with that super sophisticated background! Looks fab, as usual!

  4. What a fantastic ATC, Zoey!! I would never have guessed that’s what it was until you said. You do such beautiful work with layers of goodness. Love this! hugs, Maura

  5. Amazing, Zoey! I love how you used patterned paper to create the clip and clock hands, they look like they are metal pieces and I love how you manage to get your signature sewing on each and every project. Beautiful!!

    Hugs,
    Cathie ♥
