Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is “Explore the World”…and I leave you to Lorraine’s words here : “We live on a beautiful planet and we would love to see some sort of voyage of discovery.  You might like to make a winter wonderland project with the North and South Poles as your inspiration, or maybe you would prefer to go on a desert safari or an underwater voyage of discovery. This challenge is open to so many different themes we will be looking forward to seeing what you make!”
For this week I wanted to re-make an old project of mine. I always loved making up things with cardboard, so when I read the theme for this week’s challenge I was so excited to get playing again with cardboard – This project “Wander” has been one of my favorite among others, but as always after I made it, I had a lot of thought back on how could I have done it better! …So, here is my second take on cardboard luggages!

I covered them with black gesso and set aside to dry.  I used a bunch of Color Bloom Spray mist from Prima Marketing to give them a vintages/worn look.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2430″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used Tim Holtz ephemera pack to decorate the luggage, of course I was going for the theme, so the vintage map was perfect! I simply cut it in half and distressed it a little to make it look even more vintage. I love the effect and it fits perfectly the whole design![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2436″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2430,2431,2432,2433,2434,2435,2436″ img_size=”large”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

For this challange Simon Says Stamp kindly offers a $50 gift voucher to shop over Simon Says Stamp!
