Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is Food/Drinks ! And for this week’s challenge I wanted to do something easy peasy. I made a card! It was long time since last time I did a card for this blog! I made a couple and never shared here…so i decided i wanted to make one!
I used this wonderful stamp set by Simon Says Stamp that was part of the last release.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2971″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used Distress Oxide to create the background, nothing new, nothing fancy. I didn’t want to make an articulate card, I wanted to only use distress oxide. I love them! I used my favorite combo, Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber and Distress Oxide Peacock Feather.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2968″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I cut the cardstock to fit my card size and with the remaining pieces I used them to stamp over the Ice creams.
I also used glossy accents over them and set aside to dry completely. I know you can hardly tell there is glossy accents, but I add it![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”2969″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]I used some stencils and I used a (dirty) distress foam tool to add distress oxide ink through them.
The sentiment is part of the same stamp set, and I so love it! I love the handwriting!
I added some shadow near the ice creams and then I did some stitching to tie everything together! The last thing I added to the card was some white paint splatters, this card was way too “simple” to my own standard…so I wanted to add something more to add interest.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery interval=”0″ images=”2968,2969,2970,2971,2972″ img_size=”large”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
