Hello Crafters!

Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is “Flora and Fauna” — I have been a bit MIA for some personal issue, but today I want to show you my little project I did for this week’s challenge!
It is an ATC, or rather, and altered alphabet card!

I started my project as usual…prepping the base! I used gesso randomly with the help of a spatula I covered part of the surface. I set aside to dry and in the meantime I stamped this Indigoblu flower and I colored it.

I used Dylusions Paint to add some color to the background, although initially I wanted to keep the background as simple as possible….well..that didn’t happen!
I added modelling paste through a Tim Holtz Stencil and set aside to dry again.

Finally, I dded some random stamps here and there. I used stampers anonymous stamps by Tim Holtz – You can barely see it but I wanted to add a bit of “fauna” to this small project so I stamped the dragonfly in one corner!

For this challange Simon Says Stamp kindly offers a $50 gift voucher to shop over Simon Says Stamp!

Pink+Yellow+Green? Really? I’d never think it could be a good idea but this project amazed me! It’s so encouraging that maybe some day I’d try it too! Love the out of the page flower and the dragonfly wings below. Thank you for sharing and being an inspiration! Hugs, Marzena

I love this. Stunning colors and I like how you stamped the dragonfly just partially, going off the edge.
