Here we are to a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is “Summer Garden” and we are featuring  Paper Artsy Brand!
I choose the Hot Pick 1301 as main stamp on my tag- I absolutely love this stamp set, and I recommend you to head over Simon Says Stamp and check out all the amazing stamps by Paper Arsty!

I covered the entire #8 Manila Tag with Dylusions Paint Bubblegum Pink and Lemon Zest using my fingers and I let the color blend to create this wonderful peach-ish color. I also blended in some white gesso and then set aside to dry.
When it was dry, I glued down some pieces of Tissue Wrap Paper by Tim Holtz.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2109″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]I stamped the background with the Paper Artsy stamp and archival ink and then to create some more interest and texture I used a mini stencil by Tim Holtz and added through it Embossing Paste by Wendi Vecchi the translucent one. I let it dry and then used Distress Paint Antiqued Bronze to highlight the peeks of the paste.
I again set aside to dry meanwhile I stamped again the Paper Artsy stamp over another piece of manila. I fussy cut the butterfly and three flowers and colored them the same way I did with the background.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”2108″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]I darkened up the edges of the tag and stitched all around the tag. It was not an easy task because I wasn’t planning the stitching so I put the embossing paste around the corners! LOL.
I made my own sentiment by mix and matching two different stickers by Tim Holtz. Since the theme was “Summer Garden” I thought of making a Cheerful tag wishing everyone a day full of blooming flowers!
