Hello Crafters!

As every monday, here we are with a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp! As I told you last week in this post , I am so excited to be their first guest designer! I will be designing for Simon Says Stamp all January!

This week’s theme over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange is STENCIL IT! So grab your favorite stencils and use them in the most creative way!

As you might have notice, I love ATC and I love stencils…so there is nothing that makes me happier than combine my two passion! Here is how I interpreted this week’s theme!

I made an ATC using as the base Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock, I cut it to size and I used a mix of Tim Holtz Distress Paint Twisted Citron, Tim Holtz Distress Paint Cracked Pistachio and Tim Holtz Distress Paint Mermaid Lagoon to create my background.

I then used Tim Holtz Distress Paint Stormy Sky through two stencils that I choose to decorate this  ATC Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Lattice Work and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Dot Fade .

I added few stamps here and there with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Correspondence and Archival Ink Jet Black.
To decorate the front of this ATC I used a ticket from the collection Tim Holtz Idea-ology Journaling Tickets Altered Vintage Paper, that I also stamped with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Correspondence and Archival Ink Jet Black!

The picture of this smiley girl is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photobooth Vintage Photos and obviously the sentiment is from my favorite stickers collection Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk.

I stitched around the ATC and around the embellishments, I have to admit that it’s been months since I have started stitching my projects and now I am addicted! I can’t call a project done till I added few stitches!

For my ATC envelope, I decided to use one Ranger Manila #8 Tag folded in 3 parts. I prepped the tag with Dina Wakley White Gesso and the I just repeated the steps I did to decorate the ATC.

I also used the same stamps and of course I stitched all around with my sewing machine.

And here’s some more photo of the final project.

For this challange Simon Says Stamp kindly offers a $50 gift voucher to shop over Simon Says Stamp!

Ciao a tutti!
